I had sent what was essentially an out-of-office note and expected, at best, silence or a generic automated acknowledgement. Instead, I received a thoughtful, relevant reply that showed someone had genuinely taken the time to read what I had written. The software itself works well, but customer service like that is increasingly rare. Technology is supposed to make our lives easier, not remove the human element altogether. Xodo managed to do both. A small interaction perhaps, but one that left a lasting positive impression. I now pay for this personally as it is basically the only option to get the functionality I need: This is a polished app for my tablet, a multi-platform solution to get stuff on my PC and the peace of mind of reliable cloud storage. It is much better than the other solutions such as Acrobat. (which I have had at my disposal and have abandoned). I use it primarily for annotating pdfs specifically research papers. I would love my kids to use it for studying but it is too expensive.
