ClassPoint is a life-saviour!

장점:

The variety of features to heighten student's engagement at tertiary level especially the image upload feature.

단점:

It would be great if I can download the leaderboard for future reference.

A happy discovery

주석: Overall I really like it, though I have only really used the name picker. I tried the questions but it's limited because I don't have a subscription, so that didn't work for me and I had to use a different option (website). I have also watched some of their instructional videos that I really liked, including using AI to generate a PowerPoint. I love learning stuff like that.

장점:

The random name selection option, specifically the cards instead of the wheel (to mix it up because I know another professor uses a wheel). The students like when I award them "stars."

단점:

Students have to join the virtual classroom each time. Slows things down in the classroom. Seems like I could create classes and if someone is absent (rare in our program), then just skip them that day.

Wish it functioned cleaner

장점:

Great for classroom engagement. Great that I can integrate directly into PowerPoint. Short answers and multiple choice quizzes are perfect to gauge learning.

단점:

It often slows the PowerPoint app down while using to build lectures or present them. The first version 1.0 caused several crashes of my system requiring PowerPoint reboot and deleting of old PowerPoint files. If the bugs get fixed this would be an amazing product.

ClassPoint is a Game Changer

주석: I found this tool in an effort to find an internet browser for PPT. When I discovered everything ClassPoint has to offer, I immediately started the process to get it approved throughout my organizations. After a year of pestering IT people, I have finally gotten it installed on all the right computers and have begun training staff on how to use it. My hope is that we will upgrade our accounts soon because we have so many using it in their training sessions!

I love being able to add interactivity to PowerPoints I already created without having to go to an outside tool like Quizizz. I also really love the browser!

단점:

I want the students to be able to interact with the whiteboard and the draggable objects.

주석: Very happy with this product and I have all my faculty colleagues asking me what it is and how to get it for the entire department!

장점:

I love the ability to use AI to prepare a range of questions from PPT slides questions at varying levels of Bloom's Taxonomy. This saves me SO MUCH TIME! Its a quick knowledge check for my students that gives me an idea of what they know, don't know or may need some clarification on to fully understand. Then I can go deeper in conversation and on the tests. I an also randomly select students to answer questions which is always a plus to make sure they are always on their toes and paying attention! And best yet...students love it and grades are strong!

단점:

So far I haven't figured out a way to create questions from a group of slides using the AI feature, which would be NEXT LEVEL awesome! I also would love to find a way for the students to access the questions after class to remind them of the questions we went over in class. I haven't figured that out either since I don't share my slides with them, I share a student version without the questions and a few other things missing so they have to pay attention and I can change things last minute, etc. If this feature exists I haven't found it yet ut need to do more exploring, I'm only a few weeks into it.

ClassPoint Pros & Cons

주석: It's very easy to use and turns a standard presentation into something more fun and special =)

Lots of question types available including multiple-choice, fill in the blank, multiple selection, etc. I also really like the gamefication aspects such as the leaderboard points system for various levels. The templates provided are quite nice and inspirational!

단점:

There are a few technical components such as the system slowing down the presentation and sometimes it can kick users out of the session. Select many question type forces you to select ALL the correct responses to get the question right so if you want to ask a question like "what tools would you be interested learning more about?" A. Tool #1 B. Tool #2 C. Tool #3 and D. Tool #4 E. None of the above - If the correct answers are A,B,C,D and E is incorrect - you would need to select ALL A,B,C,D when really maybe you're only interested in the tools under A & B - but if you only select A & B, you would get the question wrong

Loving Class Point in my College Class

ClassPoint has significantly transformed the college classroom experience by turning traditional lectures into engaging, interactive sessions. For the first time in years, teaching feels genuinely enjoyable, and student feedback has reached an all-time high. It's surprising that more educators aren't using this tool to enhance PowerPoint-based lectures.

단점:

I cannot use its' tools when creating a PowerPoint video. It also need to have much more connectivity to EDCafe.

Class Point,A Remarkable Classroom Experience!

주석: Great experience, my students love it! The ease of use and the variety of features make it a must-have tool for any educator. Overall, ClassPoint has enhanced my teaching methods and made my classes more dynamic and enjoyable.

Classpoint=Classroom gamechanger!

주석: Absolutely love Classpoint; I can't imagine teaching without it now.

I love that I can make my powerpoints interactive for me but even more that I can get the children involved on their tablets and I get their instant feedback- All the notes that are usually lost on whiteboards are saved and I can go back to it. Invaluable.

단점:

I'd love the children to be able to 'drag' objects on their ipads and then submit those.

Love ClassPoint

주석: My students and I love ClassPoint. I can easily add interactive elements to my already created PowerPoints.

장점:

Easy to use! Changed the dynamic of my classroom. Students are more engaged and I can easily and quickly monitor understanding of the skill/content being taught.

단점:

Would like to see a drag feature for the students to use. Cost might be a deterrent for some.

Very promising if delivered as advertised

주석: The app has great potential and there is maybe something I don't understand, but I think it still need a lot of work. I am considering asking for refund.

장점:

I was searching for years for a way to create draggable elements while projecting and Classpoint is doing that flawlessly. It would be nice however to be able to duplicate those elements in slide mode with modifiers.

단점:

None of the presentation tools are seen by the students, they are only show on my computer but not online. Connected students don't see transitions and animations as well.

ClassPoint - Making Interactive Online Education a Breeze

주석: Overall, I really enjoy using ClassPoint! It's an easy method to engage learners online without interrupting the flow of my educational session. And it's free! Thank you so much for the service.

I like the ease of use! I don't have to click out of my slidedeck or into another platform or website to take polls, ask short answer questions, and get all the benefits of interaction in the online teaching space. It makes it so much easier and fun to ask students to engage online quickly and creatively, while avoiding the dreaded "silence" in an online session and prompting thoughtful discussion.

단점:

There are two things I would like to see improved with ClassPoint. First, I want to see increased seamlessness between showing the slidedeck through Teams or Zoom with their incorporated presentation app from PowerPoint. ClassPoint doesn't seem to work well with those two apps, as opposed to the basic share screen function. The other thing that could be improved is to make it so that you can create a class code ahead of time for your session. I use the QR code pretty seemlessly, but for adult learners, some of them like to use the web browser version and enter the code, so if I could have that planned and ready to share from my slidedeck, it would be much better for those users.

Classpoint the tool to make your lessons engaging

Cost and as an Australian school teacher I paid for it myself as finance would t do a credit card payment nor a foreign currency bank deposit

My Review

주석: I am in the education sector. My students love to use classPoint because it makes learning fun and enjoyable so easy for them to understand the lesson. ClassPoint helps increase students' participation.

장점:

I like the audio recording, gamification and the quiz summary.

단점:

Shapes and colors are very limited. It's difficult to draw using cellular phone.

My ClassPoint Experience

주석: Thank you so much ClassPoint for comng in my teaching career. Although I still consider myself as a newby for there's still so much to learn. It makes my life easier in preparing may lessons especially for the Class Observations that awaits me this school year.

장점:

I like everything in ClassPoint, the ease of use, it's accessibility and the best is that I don't have to go through different applications to make my class interesting and interactive. Since it is already installed within PowerPoint I can easily work on my presentation integrating different ways of interactive activities.

단점:

There isn't anything that I don't like in ClassPoint, At the moment, all I need to do is to learn more about its features, use them in my class presentations and to be able to share its use to my co-teachers.

ClassPoint is a crucial add-on to PowerPoint for interactive lessons

장점:

I have most of my lessons (lectures, discussions, etc.) in PowerPoint. I like to check for understanding during the lessons. I've used student response systems from the physical "clickers" to online polling such as NearPod. None of them integrated with PowerPoint as much as I would like, if at all. ClassPoint solved the problem. Lots of question types, full integration with PowerPoint, ways to record student feedback, accessible to students on a variety of devices.

단점:

ClassPoint only checks and records student responses for multiple choice questions, which is useful, but it would be nice if it did that for other types of questions, such as fill-in-the blank.

ClassPoint is Magic

장점:

I love all the features of ClassPoint. Students are magically kept engaged all throughout the lesson thru ClassPoint.

단점:

None so far, because I love all the additional features in ClassPoint 2.0

Classpoint:My saviour,My first love

주석: My task as a teacher becomes easy with the help of classpoint. It saves our time, lessen our stress and motivates our learners to engage during class discussion.

장점:

All features of the classpoint is impactful for me because it targets the individual differwnces of the learners. I can used them all through differentiated instruction.

단점:

The draggable object. How i wish that it could be in learners mobile phone. So that they can experience the draggable object in their own gadget.

Classpoint in my Class

장점:

Classpoint make my job easier as a teacher. I could teach any lesson with it. The gamified part makes the student excited to answer. I dont have to leave the slide when I have to show the students videos of pictures from other website.lastly, students can easily use the app.

단점:

Some features like the drag sometimes do not function. The demand of internet for this also limits student for using the classpoint since most of them do not have internet connection at home.

ClassPoint is the Best

Revolutionizing Classroom Engagement: A Review of the Classpoint App

주석: When I was observing one of my teachers in the Mathematics and Physics Unit, I was amazed at how Classpoint makes the class interactive, and participative and how this app greatly affects the students' performance in Mathematics. After this, I tried to use and this really helps me to be a more effective and efficient Math teacher since most of the students during Math class felt bored.

Classpoint App is very useful and appealing since this app has interactive presentation tools, real-time grading, and diverse assessment options. The quizzes feature helps to keep students engaged, provides instant feedback, and offers a range of assessment options to cater to different learning styles and abilities. Additionally, its user-friendly interface and compatibility with various devices make it easy to use and accessible to all students.

단점:

Sometimes when there is an unstable connection, Classpoint can't be used.

Amazing App

주석: I love ClassPoint eversinced I used it because its an all in one app. No need for us to search other apps. Classpoint has it all. Very helpful, innovative and so creative that I got highest ratings whenever I used ClassPoint in my Classroom Observations.

I used ClassPoint during my Classroom Observations, it gave me higher ratings because its a different way of assessing our learners which caters all their needs. This is also an integration of ICT to our lessons taught. Live interactions and feedbacks from learners makes our assessments easier, convenient, and manageable.

단점:

It is good if ClassPoint can be used even without internet like a normal PowerPoint Presentation. Slow internet connections may affect the quality of the product.
