Houzz Pro really thought of everything. The attention to detail helps our projects run smoother than ever before!

단점:

As a whole, Houzz Pro is amazing and the things I like least just seem picky. That being said, one of the issues I really wish I could change is that once a project is created, you can't delete it. During our training, we created several test projects and they are now just fluff.

FILTHY LITTLE LIARS WITH NO INTEGRITY

I have reached out to customer service, but have been told that I signed a contract and the 30 day trial does not exist, even though the trial offer is listed under prices on the website even today. This place is disgusting, they have no interest in keeping their word, and dealing with customers with Integrity! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

EXPLORE OTHER OPTIONS - Disappointing Product

주석: Terrible experience. We have tried to give this product a chance and sought help from our account rep and houzz's product specialist. No one can provide realistic answers. I mean we have had a different "dedicated account specialist" basically every few months. They just change the person out and don't really tell you anything except here is so and so. So you are continually rebuilding a relationship with your account specialist and re-explaining you frustrations in an effort to get a resolution.

We were originally sold on the concept of Houzz Pro and what it could suppossedly provide but this excitement for a potential solution for our company turned into disappointment. The service was lackluster, product underperformed, features were promised and never supplied. Basically we were lied to from the beginning.

단점:

At this point in our contract with houzz pro, I would say that we are completely over this product and company. DO NOT USE THEM. They lied to use regarding the extent of the products capabilities and when asked if we could cancel the service due to lack of product capabilities, we were told that it was not possible.

A powerful tool for small and medium sized contractors

주석: So far it seems to be a powerful tool to make projects run smoother with more predictive results. Overall it should make the process more transparent to clients and result in happier customers.

It’s very easy to get started with and has a user friendly intuitive set of tools

단점:

I’m not a fan of the layout and fonts used when generating customer documentation.

Loving it so far!

주석: While I have not yet attracted a lead with Houzz, the software has been fairly easy to learn and has helped to organize and streamline my business and manage leads from other sources.

I love that it is an all-in-one system for managing my business AND attracting leads.

단점:

It can be a little difficult to navigate when you're learning both the web version and the app.

Can't wait to see where it takes me!

주석: So far my experience is limited, but I do enjoy figuring out the website and knowing someone is always on deck ready to step in and help me understand what I need to do.

The seemingly endless options provided, mixed with a knowledgeable and prompt support team.

단점:

Because there is a lot offered, its hard getting started, That being said, it isnt necessarily a "con", it just further solidifies the depth that Houzz offers.

General Contractors secret weapon

Houzz overall use

Not bad, if you are looking for advertisement.

주석: It is a good program, but I think the price is way too high for what it actually offers.

The abundance of email with information and tips.

The lack of templates available to use, the inability to easily cancel subscription myself in my account. The price I paid for the services and goods that I received.

Not very user friendly

주석: Not very user friendly and complicated to use.

장점:

The option the client has to approve and disapprove individual items on their end. It is user friendly for client facing and billing. Not so much for internal company use. It auto saves.

단점:

It is not simple and user friendly to use, especially in comparison to Studio Designer, which I loved. The process and steps of creating proposal, purchase order and invoice are different and the linking is much more complicated. updated and changes take place without any notification to the company. time billing will not total up the hours and cannot filter per date, etc.

Way to Grow... with Houzz Pro!

주석: Genuinely no real complaints! I started with Houzz pro even before I had a formally established business and it allowed me to scale my operations with the vast resources it provides. I will always recommend it to others

The versatility of it is one that I often share with my colleagues. From the Room Scanner to the Scheduling. It really aims to be an end-to-end user product for managing a project full cycle.

단점:

That I have to purchase multiple seats for each user in my organization. I would like if it had the option to link items in my estimate to industry pricing or to connect with certain vendors or a pricing matrix such a Home Depot etc. Also there are times when I outsource my takeoff and estimating and i get my data back in excel - It would be great if Houzz was setup to parse the data from some columns so I can send the estimate from the Houzz platform.

Great if you are managing multiple projects

주석: For the past 8 years, Houzz/Ivy has been the only interior design management software I have used in my business. It was previously called Ivy until Houzz purchased them. I have done little research on other software, and no other has all the features Houzz has, and the ones that come close to having look exactly the same as Houzz - literal copy, which I don't condone.

장점:

What I like the most is that I can manage the entire project from one platform. I definitely don't use all the features provided, like the 3D drawing, because it's a bit basic for my line of work, but everything else is great.

단점:

What I like the least is that they keep updating the software, which doesn't carry through all the projects. For example, an older project will look different (action buttons in different locations)from the newer ones. Now you are going back and forth, spending time finding what you need.

Great Customer Service

주석: I am at a 50% right now. There are features that I love, and again, features that surprisingly are absent.

I've found the online chat feature on Houzz to be incredibly helpful. It's become my go-to whenever I have questions while browsing the platform.

단점:

Several features that I believe should be standard offerings are either absent or require cumbersome workarounds within the Houzz platform. Despite being assured that user feedback is integral to driving improvements, none of the suggestions I've provided have been implemented to date.

Houzz Pro Review

주석: Overall experience is good however I didn’t like that I was automatically rolled into another year of a contract without my account manager notifying me.

As a new company it has been a great way to build an online portfolio, showcase my projects and a way for people to FIND me. I like that my profile gets pushed to the top in my market. You also get an account manager to help you with onboarding and things that come up along the way.

단점:

That you can’t get out of the contract via the admin portal. For a new company $3,000 is a lot of money to dish out right away. If it were half that for 1st year, that would help. I also don’t get that many leads from it. If I’m going to be paying the high cost I wish it came with a few more advertising features.

Huge Fangirl of Houzz Pro

주석: I'm having the best time working with y'all! The attitude, service and dedication to the client and program is next level.

I love the all start to finish features. It's really cool and the more I dive into it the more impressive it is.

단점:

Setting it all up. lol! Honestly the set up of anything is the most tedious work. Looking forward to having selections and templates established.

Great Platform For Architects and Designers

주석: Overall we are very happy with Houzz and hope to be able to continue being one of their Houzz Pro clients.

I like how it has evolved into a design focused platform, and how its focusing on helping professionals manage businesses. Our primary interest in Houzz was to have an additional portfolio that could be easily found by prospective clients. Next our focus was keeping up to date with customer satisfaction. Currently we have found better and better clients who have found us through Houzz. This company has definitely focused on improving itself.

단점:

The cost is a bit too high for us currently.

Houzz Pro the Pro for Pros

Our organization moved from another system to Houzz Pro primarily for the ease of use for the field team members. The one stop shop

not the same capabilities on the app vs desktop version.

Highly recommend.

주석: For a construction company like us, it is very easy to onboard new salesmen or project managers with a tool like Houzz Pro.

The one stop shop solution for construction project management, from lead to takeoff to negotiation to closing to completing the project.

단점:

we sometimes get leads that are very hard to get a hold of.

Great for a small business.

주석: Notes from "Billing and Invoice" section on previous page: (I needed to delete these comments in order to continue to this page). I like the option to create and use templates to customize my invoices. It's nice to add a logo, but once you add it, you have to replace it with another image. I wish there was an option to set the invoice due date to always be on the 1st of each month or 4 weeks from the day of the invoice being sent. I also feel it is redundant to have two due dates listed on the invoice. Currently, I have to toggle back to edit the invoice because the date didn't update. Once an invoice is sent, it would be nice to automatically return to the all invoices page.

Fantastic new layout!! I can see improvements have been made since I started with Houzz Pro.

The time keeping and invoicing needs to improve.

Houzz Pro Works for Small Remodeling Businesses

주석: Overall positive. The ability to run essentially the entire administrative side of the business from one portal is fantastic. Marketing, Lead Gen, Website creation on the front end and creating estimates from takeoffs, getting signatures for projects, and collect payments all in one space is amazing. The only reason we have decided to move away from the platform is a shift in business direction that doesn't require us to be as customer-facing any more.

단점:

Tools lacked the depth to be top-tier options in the space. While the breadth of the tools is great, being able to do more with each individual tool would be welcome.

Great Program That Sets You Up For Success!

주석: I do feel the program itself is a program that sets you up for success, and makes you feel capable of giving potential clients the best service you can provide them with.

It has so many features to offer you to have a successful business and carry it out professionally.

단점:

I feel like all the features, but it could be a bit more organized and in categories that makes sense to it's functions. I also noticed the video tutorials are not all up to date, so there are something's that are confusing when following through with it.

A do all, umbrella for Interior Projects I couldn't be without.

주석: It's really helped me with my business. I couldn't be without it.
I love how helpful the staff have been with my feedback too, everytime I have suggested what they could do better they have acted straight away and in a short time frame, the feature arrives making the software better and better for Designers. I love it.

I like the functionality and the features being all in once place. I like the sync to quickbooks, the project planning tool and the proposal and selections board tool. I love that I can show Client's how we are on or over the planned budget, and they can clearly see why. We can work collaboratively more effectively. The Client Dashboard is incredibly useful too.

단점:

It can be sluggish sometimes, and sometimes freezes for a bit which is frustrating when you are trying to work quickly. I would love more integrations as I don't expect the software to be brilliant at everything. It can be difficult for Client's to access their Dashboard without regularly sending them the link.

One Stop Design Business Management

주석: My experience has being great, I started using Houzz more as a marketing tool, but as I discover the massive amount of tools it provides, I run my entire business from it.

I have being a user since I open my studio 4 years ago. Over the years I have being very surprised many times as they keep making the workflow more intuitive and keep adding features that make my work much more easier. I can definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to improve their design management and client communication tools. I am sure once you use it you hardly would want to use anything else.

단점:

Houzz continues to improve constantly, so I have the good feeling they they will address some glitches that come here and there. I am not super fan of their calendar appointment integration, I think there is a lot of room for improvement there, it isn't reliable, luckily I add my other booking links to my Houzz templates to overcome this.. and it works for me

Beware of predatory business practices

주석: I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and would warn anyone interested in evaluating the trial to be very wary of the predatory business policies. They have no interest in providing any leniency to errors and will continue to bill you for up to 12 months after requesting a cancellation.

From a software perspective the platform seems fine. We evaluated it for use but decided not to proceed with a purchase. Unfortunately, due to an administrative oversight, we failed to cancel the free trial and have been being billed for the past 12 months for a product that we neither used, needed nor wanted. After attempting to contact the company - they refused to process any refund or cancel the subscription. So they continue to bill us. As a small business this is a non-trivial expense. Very unethical business practice.

단점:

Houzz pro has demonstrated deplorable & predatory business practices. While we respect their prerogative to adhere to every letter of their trial policy - we find their practice to be extremely unethical. After contacting them to inform them that there was an oversight in the cancellation of the subscription - they refused to stop billing us for the product, even though we never used it beyond the trial date. We are a small business and this is not a trivial expense. As a business, they certainly have the ability to practice ethically and cancel subscriptions in the cases of administrative oversight, given evidence that the product was never used beyond the trial date. Throwing their hands in the air and pointing to the policy as though they are powerless to do anything is extremely disappointing. Even if they kept the payments for the first few months of the oversight and then canceled the subscription, that would have been acceptable.
