I was able to set up most of the system on my own thanks to its clear and user-friendly interface. Whenever I wasn’t sure about something, I could either use the built-in AI search tool—which pulls information directly from their materials—or contact live support. Both options were extremely helpful, and everything was successfully configured in the end. Ironically, the most challenging part of the setup was connecting the payment gateway, since Stripe’s process is quite confusing. However, that’s more of a Stripe issue than SimplyBook.me’s. We actually use SimplyBook.me for organizing a two-day event, not for running a business, and it still provides everything we need. It’s flexible, intuitive, and works perfectly for our purposes. Overall, SimplyBook.me has fully met my expectations, and the price-to-performance ratio is excellent. Many users can’t log in at all. When they do get in, events either don’t display or aren’t clickable. There were a number of glitches/freezes throughout the process, and if you refreshed, you lost any progress you made, preventing teams from securing a time. For a process that already comes with high demand and pressure, these technical issues make it unnecessarily frustrating. I personally experienced the system freezing on the confirmation screen multiple times, which meant I lost the time I was trying to book and had to start over, and did not end up with my first option.
