Asana 리뷰
Asana, the tool that organizes me
주석: Using Asana has helped me work more effectively and professionally by keeping a detailed track of activities and tasks, as well as executing projects in a professional manner.
장점:
I like using Asana because it makes organizing my projects, tasks, and work much easier. It is also very useful when collaborating with my team because it has allowed me to keep track of all the activities we’ve done.
단점:
The only thing I don’t like about Asana is that it can be a bit complex for those trying to learn to use the tool, as it has multiple functions, which can be challenging for new users.
Good for teams, a little bit overwhelming
주석: Asana works well for team projects, keeps things organized, but can feel a bit much at times. Good for bigger projects, but maybe overkill for simpler stuff
장점:
I like how easy it is to track projects and see who's doing what. The layout is simple and it keeps everything in one place. Makes teamwork less messy
단점:
Can get a little bit overwhelming with too many tasks and notifications. Sometimes it feels like more work just managing the work
I Truly Tried
주석: Honesty, I have tried 4 different times to like Asana. I was originally introduced to it through a job, and had no control over the setup, look or functioning. It felt cumbersome and inefficient. First impression, hated it. About a year and a half later, I was reintroduced to it, also in a work/team setting. I learned a little more, and was still not a fan. Attempt #3 was on my own. I found a training class and took it, thinking that the more that I knew about the functioning, I would probably like it better. I did, a little bit, but by then I had been introduced to Trello, and Asana did not measure up. I'm currently using it again in a work/team manner, and have come to accept it. I still don't love it based on a few features (for example, if someone assigns me a task, but hasn't tagged what project it is, I am flying blind), but I have, for the most part, learned it and accept it in situations where I don't get to choose. One feature that I absolutely LOVE about Asana though is contingent tasks. If, for example, I'm waiting for a certain contract addendum, I can put that in as a task, and when it comes in and I click the "completed" button, the next task (that couldn't have been done without the first) shows up. Of course, this is something that has to be set up when the project is created, but it is VERY handy as I'm working my way through.
장점:
Dependent tasks (contingencies). This feature is brilliant.
단점:
Very bland, not hard to use, but not easy, either.
The best way to get your projects done!
주석: The best way to make projects look like a game. You have a nice animations when you complete a task and it really makes doing work more fun.
장점:
The best thing is the free version for small teams. If you are starting your business or you have a smaller team it is the best. Great way to experience how things work.
단점:
From start it was a bit tricky to navigate between free and paid options.
Very Pleased!!
주석: Love it. It's a great product that for me is very dialled in now. I won't be moving unless they start removing functionality and options.
장점:
Asana has a lot of moduality. I'm a very particular person and very systems-minded, and I can really tailor Asana to those specific, high-level needs. That said, Asana manages to offer that power of options without over-crowding the UI/X and making the platform feel sluggish or over-stimulating to view.
단점:
Very few things that are largely insignificant compared to it's strength. There are small details like the pop-up windows from completed, deleted or altered tasks appearing on the left of screen obscuring the menus/ projects. You have to close each one until you can get to click your next project.
A one-stop-shop for nonprofit project management
주석: Asana has been a lifesaver for my nonprofit—we are able to segment our projects into quarters of the year, different programs, and more. We can easily communicate important information and share files pertinent to specific deadline-based tasks. The calendar view helps to visualize critical deadlines, and the robust organizational tools allow us to create prioritized ranking of tasks easily. For businesses and nonprofits, these tools make project management a breeze. I can scarcely remember how we managed before Asana!
장점:
I love how user-friendly Asana is and how easy it is to share projects with teammates.
단점:
My only complaint has been my own user error—when I began, I had two different accounts with separate clients and different emails and it made logging in confusing.
고려된 대안:
Easy, effective, scalable
주석: We switched from another tool after having used Asana in the past. It integrates well, is easy to use, and easily guides our daily work.
장점:
Ease of setup, what exists out of the box made it much easier to implement than previous software we used, it's affordable, and everyone has learned to use it well.
단점:
Some quirks of users owning automations (I wish they belonged to the project and could exist without the user), I wish there were rules/automations on portfolios.
A user-friendly interface and customisable workflow project management tool
주석: My experience with Asana has been really positive overall. I appreciate its clear, visual layou. I can set up simple to-do lists for daily tasks, but also use Gantt-style timelines for larger projects. This visual variety helps keep projects feeling manageable, no matter their complexity.
장점:
Asana has been a game-changer for managing our client design and campaign projects. Its user-friendly interface and customisable workflows make it easy to stay organised on complex projects. It’s a fantastic tool that has scaled with our needs, we couldn’t imagine managing projects without it now.
단점:
While Asana is powerful, it can feel overwhelming for new users as there is a wide variety of features and customisations.
Powerful Task & Project Management Tool
장점:
Asana allows me to track my own tasks as well as tasks that ladder up into larger projects and campaigns. Asana provides transparency and accountability into managing work across teams and organizations, and generally seems to be customizable and adaptable to an organization's needs.
단점:
Like a lot of software, if you don't set it up in a way that the software can be maximized, you're going to miss out on the value. For example, if different teams in your organization set up their own Asana accounts independently and under different formats, you're going to lose the value of being able to track work across teams and functions - find a way to set it up together even if some work doesn't always need to be visible.
Asana User Review
주석: I really like it. It's super customizable and user friendly.
장점:
I love the customizability of tasklists and unique filter views. For example, i can create my own custom views for very specific criteria around tasks i'd like to see. "What tasks are being held up but are due end of week?". Also, the calendar views are a game changer.
단점:
The time tracking integrations are really buggy and don't always work. I think a major limitation is it's native integrations with other applications and Zapier. Specifically triggering automations based on certain events and your ability to update task lists accordingly. I think adding more automation workflows would be helpful.
Asana - your one step shop to collaborative work environments.
주석: It has been incredible beneficial interface for our organization and has personally helped me a ton to stay on task and focus on the most important tasks first.
장점:
Asana is a great tool for any business that works within multiple levels. We use it across our organization to stay involved and collaborative. It's been so beneficial to have immediate feedback from team members about projects.
단점:
Sometimes switching between companies/jobs is a bit clunky. There isn't a whole lot to complain about when using it, however.
Ready or not, Asana is here for you
주석: Overall asana is a great tool, I’ve setup an account for every company I worked for the last few years and it has been a game changer ever since. I do have quite a few years of project management experience so it is quirky and exciting for me to use this tool. I recommend teams looking to implement dedicate an internal or external PM to setup the tool for your company’s internal teams by understanding what current challenges they face when providing status updates on projects. This tool needs atleast 90 days to really get it setup for companies with 150 employees or less but will become an instant hit if you dedicate the resources to get it started
장점:
Asana is a great tool for the type A project manager or teams that enjoy craft organizational tools with a twist. Asana has a TON of different customizations such as creating rules for tasks once the completion date has been reached or allowing you to assign a collaborator to a child tasks with a parent action
단점:
Since there are so many custom tool options it may motivate teams to delay the initial setup of the tool to make it work for your industry or line of project tasks and milestones
Great for Project Management across a remote team
주석: Used widely amongst the team across all areas of the business with vary levels of full engagement. We initially had all the company goals mapped out and had these filtering down into various teams sub goals, but then realised several of the teams weren't using the platform to record in this way, so we downgraded and allow the teams who love it to use it in the way that best suits them.
장점:
As a project management tool it's strong - lots of really simple to use layouts and project templates so no PM experience required to get started. It's reporting functionality is great too, and goal setting is really useful to the team.
단점:
The price. We'd love to go for the biggest plan but for a start up it's hard to justify the full cost if only certain teams are adopting it. It can get expensive pretty quickly.
Wadike Views on Asana Utilization
장점:
Asana facilities task management, time tracking and project portfolio management capabilities in one single repository.
단점:
Asana for the past three years has been perfect. The issues that I was facing on my mobile application was rectified upon version upgrade.
고려된 대안:
Best project management tool
주석: Excellent. It helps greatly in moving forward with my start-up administration tasks and projects.
장점:
Easy to set up and easy to use. It helps me reiterating plans and keep on track of important deadlines
단점:
not sure, I really like and enjoy using its UI and features.
Asana Review
주석: My experience with Asana has been absolutely great!!
장점:
Asana helps to keep me organization everyday. The product is easy to use and the GUI is user friendly. I Love Asana. It has been my life saver
단점:
There is still as lot of information on Asana that I do not know how to use yet. I could use more training.
Asana works well when you make it work for you
주석: I have a positive experience with Asana! I have yet to find the perfect software in general, so it of course is not without its minor flaws. I'd highly recommend this product.
장점:
If you know how to use Asana and all of its features, then it can work wonders for your team. Asana is helpful for tracking shared tasks on a team-level, such as a team that is planning an annual event with multiple tasks, deadlines, and departments (marketing and sponsorships, event logistics, registration management, etc.). Your team's Asana can consist of multiple "Projects", with sub-categories within each project for your individual tasks. Tasks can be assigned to as few or as many teammates as you'd prefer, and can be set to reoccurring or one-time only. Tasks can move between sub-categories and between projects. Our team also uses Asana for weekly team meetings, where we check off each task as an agenda item, and will sometimes turn an agenda item into a task on someone's to-do list, adding a due date and moving the task to a relevant project.
단점:
Sometimes, the functionality and innerworkings of Asana can be rather complex for a team's comprehension. With some training and sharing of best practices, teams can truly make Asana work for them. The cons of Asana lie more with the users, as everyone needs to be on the same page on using Asana and how the team specifically wants to manage tasks. Every team has their own preferences. Also, as someone who represents multiple non-profit organizations in my job and has multiple emails/aliases, it can also be challenging if you have already created an Asana account with one email. There is a way to merge all your Asana "teams" into one log-in, but it is difficult to do so if you have already created an Asana log-in.
A solid intermediate project management tool
주석: It's a positive experience when using Asana for our clients. It's not our tool of choice however, but it's good for that particular use-case.
장점:
Asana is a solid project management tool. I'd say it's an intermediate tool, with very good basics and plenty of more advanced features. I like the customisability and the way they organise projects and teams. The number of different views on each screen makes it easy to monitor projects "at a glance" and these filters serve as shortcuts into more detailed screens.
단점:
Asana is not the most advanced project management tool, and it doesn't target any specific niche. This means that you'll both find features many people will never use, while also missing some features you might need. One of the biggest flaws for me is the poor editability of messages and task descriptions. This makes Asana a no-go for any company with a writing culture, and often makes asynchronous communication harder.
A Great Tool for Staying Organized and Collaborative
주석: My overall experience with Asana was positive. It helped me stay organized, meet deadlines, and collaborate efficiently. The platform's flexibility in task management and visual project tracking made content planning easier, though it could get cluttered with larger projects
장점:
I liked Asana's ability to keep projects organized with its task management and calendar views, making it easy to plan content, set deadlines, and track progress. The integrations with tools like Google Drive also streamline sharing and collaboration.
단점:
What I liked least about Asana was the occasional clutter when managing complex projects, as too many tasks and subtasks could make it overwhelming. Additionally, some features felt limited unless you upgraded to the premium version.
What’s Asana? Experience Based on 7 Years
주석: Workflow automation saves time which I devote in other productive activities mainly in creative writing for the Media & Broadcasting industry.
장점:
Ever since 2018, it has been easy for me in the three current companies to plan, track and manage tasks without involving manual procedures.
단점:
It offers collaboration and instant messaging features but it lack VC capabilities.
Asana Overall Experience
주석: The overall experience with asana has been great.
장점:
The collaboration and organization ability of asana is great. The visual aspect is great as well, although does have some opportunities.
단점:
I'd like additional visual options for better organizational purposes.
Can’t live without it!
주석: I would call my experience with Asana a game-changer. I would also call it an “industry changer”, because I have seen the impact it has had on productivity in both companies I have worked for that implemented Asana into their workflow. I don’t know how the current company where I work could run if it didn’t have Asana. And I know for a fact I wouldn’t be able to do my job without it.
장점:
I like that the capabilities are endless for how you can set up projects and processes to work best for your specific company or team. I also love that, on a daily basis, I discover some new way that Asana can make my job more efficient and streamlined.
단점:
Changing the “time” in the due date field is a little wonky if you are trying to type it in and not use the drop-down. But that’s the only minor annoyance I have.
Asana has been fantastic for us
주석: Asana is a web-based collaboration application that we use company-wide. It makes it easy to delegate tasks, track and allocate resources, and track budgets. Viewing activity logs and tracking changes is an example of the tool's excellent visibility. When one team member makes a change, the rest of the team sees it immediately in Asana's real-time workflow tracking. Impressively, it is compatible with many different operating systems and has proven to be a unified platform where all key team members can see and act on project data in real time. There is a learning curve, especially when it comes to dashboards and reporting, but the power of Asana is limitless.
장점:
We have reduced our workload by 80% thanks to the computerized approval process. Eliminating repetitive but necessary tasks has increased productivity. Many of our projects are well organized and accessible through the mobile app and to anyone with viewing permissions thanks to the ability to link files and add notes at the row level. With the mobile app, I no longer have to juggle multiple platforms to view my spreadsheets; I can do it whenever I want.
단점:
I really don't have many complaints about this program. Occasionally there may be an unexpected glitch or loss of functionality, but those are extremely rare.
Task and project management/tracking with fewer meetings? We'll take it.
장점:
Asana has facilitated improved collaboration and information flow within our team, allowing us to focus on production. It's very intuitive and has all the functions we need.
단점:
I do not really have any complaints about Asana.
A prestigious product for managing our team projects. Asana has no match
주석: It has been a very special experience getting to manage our team projects with Asana. Our team has been able to work more closely together which has enabled us to get our tasks completed in the right time and with the best results. Asana task planner has been assisting us to keep focus on our project objectives.
장점:
Asana has a very user-friendly collaboration space that makes it easy for the team to work together. It has amazing project management tools which makes it so easy to plan, track and control our project activities from start to the very end. Asana work automation tools allows us to save time performing the repetitive tasks by automating them.
단점:
Asana has not had any major issues to complain about. The support team has also listened to our requests and act instantly.
