주석: Absolutely amazing! The software to the customer service has all been exceptional!

Houzz Pro really thought of everything. The attention to detail helps our projects run smoother than ever before!

단점:

As a whole, Houzz Pro is amazing and the things I like least just seem picky. That being said, one of the issues I really wish I could change is that once a project is created, you can't delete it. During our training, we created several test projects and they are now just fluff.

FILTHY LITTLE LIARS WITH NO INTEGRITY

주석: I was told there is a 30 day free trial when using the proservice, I signed up for the service then canceled 2 1/2 days later, due to their online floor planner being difficult to use, but HOUZZ is still billing me monthly. I have reached out to customer service, but have been told that I signed a contract and the 30 day trial does not exist, even though the trial offer is listed under prices on the website even today. This place is disgusting, they have no interest in keeping their word, and dealing with customers with Integrity! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

Former Ivy User Back to Houzz Pro

주석: Very positive. It meets many of the needs I have as a boutique full-service interior design firm. I have tried many other software programs and Houzz Pro is one of the easiest and most functional.

장점:

I was an original Ivy user years ago, and recently came back to Houzz Pro after trying many other interior design software programs that were good, but not great. The 3D room scanner and floor plan generator was what drew me back - it's been such a useful tool! While I don't use Houzz for lead generation or client communication, I do send my clients their portal links to view their project details (selections, moodboards, etc.) live, which has been a great feature.

단점:

The 3D room scanner has glitches; I've noticed that in very large spaces (ie. an open living/dining room in a large A-frame house with 25' h ceilings) the scan was so inaccurate that it was useless. It's also not able to scan new construction (ie. framed-in walls with no drywall).

Improvements needed, easy ones for big jump in experience

주석: The support wasn't as seamless. some of the techs weren't sure of the answers since we are Ivy transfers.

Its intutive and feels like what we use to use, Ivy.

단점:

The print is small. It's hard to "go back" when in a project/purchase orders or project/invoices. Toggling between the two is cumbersome and slow. The small print, buttons and arrows. It's tiny.

Appears Professional to Clients

New Home Builder's Dream

주석: Overall, this was so helpful when planning a new home build!

장점:

I really liked the ability to create a 3D model and have different views I can choose from such as dollhouse and walkthrough. I appreciate the paint color feature so I can choose the wall colors that will actually be on the walls. And I enjoyed the ability to use actual items I might purchase in the home for decor.

단점:

The only things I didn't like were that I couldn't choose the exact flooring or countertops, and I couldn't map out landscaping. It would also be beneficial to see the different elevation views.

Houzz Pro keeps me organized!

주석: The learning curve on Houzz Pro was pretty simple to get going, however being a deconstruction contractor in which the program was not designed for it has taken a few years to get it adapted for me and I still have a ways to go it seems.

장점:

With Houzz Pro I'm able to manage my customers and projects with efficiency and stay highly organized. Using the takeoffs side of the program I have been able to develop standards in my estimating and templates to speed up the process.

단점:

The customer section is built for working with one client per project. I'm a deconstruction subcontractor that works with big General contractors that have multiple project managers, and estimators that I work with. That part gets complicated for me at times.

Keeping it Real

주석: Being able to run Design and Construct business in the one program is ideal.
There are areas for improvement, however overall it has given our clients a better user experience for being able to better communicate our design and build ideas, proposals and updating clients about the project during construction.

장점:

Love that it has the option to provide a well rounded service from start to finish in handling clients from lead stage, to design, quotation proposals and build management. Not many options out there that combine design and construction components in one program.

단점:

Leads that come through are hit and miss. A lot of scam leads. However, have had some very successful leads. Needs little better handling and efficiency across the system and better user friendly interface for the app.

All in one

주석: Houzz Pro has been a great way to manage and maintain my design clients and business. I really like how it is an "all in one" system for everything you might need including 3D renderings, mood boards, project management, clients contact system, and a lot more. In the past I have had to have multiple systems to manage my business and with Houzz Pro I am covered.

Houzz Pro is a great place for designers to run their entire business from. We love that we can track everything for each project, invoices, time & expenses, client projects, and more.

단점:

I wish there was a contact management system for prospects.

Great Customer Service

주석: I am at a 50% right now. There are features that I love, and again, features that surprisingly are absent.

I've found the online chat feature on Houzz to be incredibly helpful. It's become my go-to whenever I have questions while browsing the platform.

단점:

Several features that I believe should be standard offerings are either absent or require cumbersome workarounds within the Houzz platform. Despite being assured that user feedback is integral to driving improvements, none of the suggestions I've provided have been implemented to date.

주석: Overall experience is good however I didn’t like that I was automatically rolled into another year of a contract without my account manager notifying me.

장점:

As a new company it has been a great way to build an online portfolio, showcase my projects and a way for people to FIND me. I like that my profile gets pushed to the top in my market. You also get an account manager to help you with onboarding and things that come up along the way.

단점:

That you can’t get out of the contract via the admin portal. For a new company $3,000 is a lot of money to dish out right away. If it were half that for 1st year, that would help. I also don’t get that many leads from it. If I’m going to be paying the high cost I wish it came with a few more advertising features.

Great product, still working out some issues

주석: It's a great software program for a residential remodeler who needs estimating, takeoff, and other project management features.

장점:

I like the ease of set-up, the multiple available features, the availability of help and feedback from Houzz associates. For a company our size (2-5 employees) it is an affordable alternative to other project management software that is usually exorbitantly expensive.

단점:

Some of the features are still a little wonky, but the company is still actively trying to improve the product so it's not a huge problem.

Great for a small business.

주석: Notes from "Billing and Invoice" section on previous page: (I needed to delete these comments in order to continue to this page). I like the option to create and use templates to customize my invoices. It's nice to add a logo, but once you add it, you have to replace it with another image. I wish there was an option to set the invoice due date to always be on the 1st of each month or 4 weeks from the day of the invoice being sent. I also feel it is redundant to have two due dates listed on the invoice. Currently, I have to toggle back to edit the invoice because the date didn't update. Once an invoice is sent, it would be nice to automatically return to the all invoices page.

장점:

Fantastic new layout!! I can see improvements have been made since I started with Houzz Pro.

단점:

The time keeping and invoicing needs to improve.

Upgraded from Ivy to Houzz Pro

주석: Overall, we have enjoyed our experience with Houzz Pro and we are looking into going deeper with some of the features.

장점:

We use Houzz Pro to track FFE project selections, such as plumbing fixtures, furniture, etc. I love that I can use their clipper and easily add to specific rooms in my projects and easily create boards and selections for client approvals. The process of selection to invoicing is easy and helps us be more productive.

단점:

We also invoice for projects out of Houzz Pro. I do wish I could pay the transaction fees for bank drafts but have my clients pay the transaction fees for credit cards. I feel that would allow us to get paid by our clients sooner.

A do all, umbrella for Interior Projects I couldn't be without.

주석: It's really helped me with my business. I couldn't be without it.
I love how helpful the staff have been with my feedback too, everytime I have suggested what they could do better they have acted straight away and in a short time frame, the feature arrives making the software better and better for Designers. I love it.

장점:

I like the functionality and the features being all in once place. I like the sync to quickbooks, the project planning tool and the proposal and selections board tool. I love that I can show Client's how we are on or over the planned budget, and they can clearly see why. We can work collaboratively more effectively. The Client Dashboard is incredibly useful too.

단점:

It can be sluggish sometimes, and sometimes freezes for a bit which is frustrating when you are trying to work quickly. I would love more integrations as I don't expect the software to be brilliant at everything. It can be difficult for Client's to access their Dashboard without regularly sending them the link.

주석: I am extremely happy overall with HouzzPro and don't plan on going anywhere else for my managing my interior design business! Thank you!

I love having all needed in one spot, that I can log in to daily (and do!) and that I can share with my clients so we area all on the same page. I use Houzz Pro for floor-planning, invoicing, creating mood boards, etc. It's my one and done system!

단점:

I wish the Floor planner tool had a bit more functionality to be comparable to the other 3D renderings available out there.

Building a wall, for example, requires various materials such as wood, nails, and waterproofing. It would be beneficial to have a database to display the actual cost of the project accurately.

Easy software for project management

주석: In general, my experience has been good compared to other software that I have used, the price is a little high considering that they offer an app but it does not give 100% of the offers.
anyway they are always making improvements!

Definitely my favorite software tool is the ease of creating product spec sheets. I also like that the client can interact on the platform approving and disapproving products.

단점:

- The client usually doesn't have time, so the least I liked so far is that the mobile application doesn't work the same as the desktop version. Even for me when I am working outside my desktop and I need quick access it is not possible, for example you cannot access 100% of the dashboard from the app, the board products do not appear in the mobile app. - The client does not have access to the product links unless I manually copy the link into the description.
