주석: I love VS code although I was overwhelmed at first but as of now its the go to code editor for me as it facilitates all my needs with its easy to use system, wide community and numerous extensions and very nice customer support.

I loved how it can be integrated with my previous work files as well as the community for it huge which helps when a certain issue arises. In addition to that the wide range of extensions present are also a huge bonus.

단점:

Some cons about VS Code is that it is confusing sometimes as there a lot of features present and it might get overwhelming to a beginner.

Visual Studio Code- Your coding partner

주석: My overall experience with visual studio code has been pretty amazing. I started with sublime text at first but then having seen the workspace folder integrations built-in terminal and extensive extension support I eventually switched to studio code which took a little learning at first but then changed the way i have been developing websites lately.

The ability to make use of several extensions really helps me save time while writing code,the auto complete feature enables me to write code for web layouts quite effectively and provides me with a base template to further work on the internal structure and functions. The processing is fast and terminal works effortlessly. Auto-complete Extensions for various Languages and libraries Built-in terminal Easy workspace folder management system.

단점:

The auto complete sometimes messes up my coding speed by completing code chunks that it expects me to be writing while i might be writing a similar code structure. Having to disable it again and again or having to pay attention to it while working can sometimes become a hassle.

Visual Studio Code is a beast

Visual studio code is the BEST development tool out there. The extensions are amazing. The customization options are great. Simple, intuitive user experience.

I like least about Visual Studio Code is that it can sometimes become resource-intensive, especially when using multiple extensions. This can cause the editor to lag or slow down on less powerful machines. Additionally, its built-in terminal, while useful, isn't as robust as standalone terminal applications, and managing extensions can sometimes be overwhelming due to the sheer volume available. Despite these, it's still a highly functional and versatile tool.

Best IDE for Software Developers

주석: We generally work with PHP language. It provides us with a very comfortable environment when editing and writing code. Additionally, keyboard shortcuts are very useful and we use them all the time.

Keyboard shortcuts are very useful! Selecting multiple lines with the Ctrl + Alt key, copying code snippets with the Shift + Alt key, automatic code indentation with the Alt + down key, selecting multiple regions with the Alt key are really successful! It makes your job easier with integrations and extensions. The file recovery feature also works well.

단점:

A close button can be added to quickly close the right and left sidebar menus. Right click and "hide sidebar" access is a bit difficult.

A great product for coding experts

주석: This is a great product for coding experts/programmers. It is also friendly to use if you're a beginner. I can't say this is a masterpiece but it performs most of the essential jobs. Unfortunately, the performance bottleneck is the issue if you're having low-end computer. Otherwise, this is a fully free software that most people will love!

주석: Its a very good desktop app for code editor I enjoy coding on it

My one and one only Code Editor

주석: I had using lot of code Editor for my development no one comfortable for me. But VS Code is really amazing I am really thank to Microsoft. Microsoft's Best software is VS Code it's really Unbelievable software. I am Full Sack developer but I am using one and one software for all programming languages both backend and front end.

VS Code don't have the drawbacks it's really very well of all developers. But Only one thing missing is VS Code this Android Emulator.

주석: Most of the team have been using VSC since they started learning to code, and those that predate it's release have all had really positive things to say about switching.

Switching between languages is a breeze, it recognises the language and swaps the markups automatically. Combined with the stellar third party plugin market. VSC is now the companies preferred IDE.

The only thing we haven't enjoyed in the web version. This was easily mitigated by installing it locally on our laptops. I'm sure the web client will be great in the coming years, but for now, we're happy to have it running locally.

King of IDEs

주석: Visual Studio is the best IDE available because of its wide support for languages and the ability to fully customize it to your liking. The Work Spaces feature is extremely useful to us as we have multiple projects that we can be working on at one time. This makes it easy to switch between projects quickly and easily without ever leaving the IDE.

Free. Easy to setup and get started. Tons of extensions/themes to customize it. Work spaces. Native GIT integration.

Settings can be really hard to find because they are nested so deep and you have to use the command palette to access/toggle them. Microsoft owned product so there is telemetry that is sent back to them.

Still the best IDE on the market

주석: The only IDE I use, even thought there are some upcoming fiery competitors

It is the best IDE out there (in my opinion and I've tried many). Unfortunately it is a Microsoft product, so I'm sure sooner or later they'll find the way to ruin it, like the did with many other product they acquired (Skype, Linkedin, etc.). But for now it is still amazing.

Too many yearly updates and lots of uncertainty about how data protection and data management is really implemented.

My Overall Experience with VSC

1. VS Code is very easy to use and very user friendly. 2. It provides an excellent support for a wide range of programming languages. It includes syntax highlighting, autocompletion etc. 3. The built-in Git support, terminals and extensions help the developers and coders to code smoothly, without any problem. 4. It's also a very lightweight editor that launches quickly and doesn't consume excessive RAM & ROM.

I personally don't like the initial setup of VS Code. Also the it has huge options that sometimes make me confused.

An editor you can make what you want

주석: I tried different editor before setting to VS Code, in my opinion it is the best compromise between lightness, features and possibility of customization. You can use as a lightweight text editor or as a fully IDE via extensions. With WSL2 integration, for me it is a must on Windows os.

I use Visual Studio Code for web development on a daily basis, using the docker engine on the Windows Subsystem for Linux. It integrates well with Docker and Docker Compose and all the languages I need are fully supported. It launches very fast with about 15 extensions enabled, so you can use it to quickly open some text files in your system as well. I can customize everything I need in the UI (natively or through extensions), so it's an editor that everyone can adapt to their needs

단점:

Using the remote server in the WSL2, you find yourself at having two different set of extensions enabled, one set locally and the other one on the remote server.

The perfect tool for web development

It is built for the best developer experience.

단점:

The integration with git, I would like something more reliable and that avoids to use the terminal.

Best IDE so far

i am a big fan of Visual Studio Code. I have used this code editor from the beginning of my coding journey. This application is light weighted and can be supported by any low specification computer. There are various extension that are available for us to make our coding life easier. Also, if we want to integrate other application with visual studio code it is very easy.

단점:

By far i have not found any cons of visual studio code.
