A Flexible Yet Complex Communication Tool

주석: I was satisfied with Teams as a communication tool. It's highly flexible and widely adopted. While managing the details can be a bit cumbersome, it's still an excellent option for medium to large organizations.

Microsoft Teams is a well-known and widely used communication platform. It integrates seamlessly with other Microsoft services like OneDrive and Office, making it easy to connect and collaborate. Teams allows you to communicate, organize your schedule, and even conduct video calls all within the same tool. If you're already using other Microsoft services, Teams is an excellent choice for flexibility.

However, it can be quite heavy, much like other Microsoft tools. The web and app versions offer different features and functions, which can be confusing for some users. Additionally, Teams has relatively high operating costs and requires some expertise to manage its settings effectively.

Very easy to communicate, hold meetings etc. Like the calendar functionality and seamless experience. Beneficial that one can keep everything in one place for a project.

단점:

Can become difficult when arranging meetings with people outside of an organisation. You have to get used to working with the groups and individuals to avoid confusion. It has been tricky with us as the organisation limits what we can and can't share/save to Teams. It would be great if we could use it fully. Zoom has some better functionality for presenting training but as that is not our focus, Teams was a better choice.

Teams offers a wide variety of collaboration tools.

주석: Overall, the wxperience wasn't BAD. The tools offered in the Teams suite arent ineffective. We found the breadth of offerings to be suitable for keeping multiple teams, projects and tasks organized, and helping balance remote, in office and field team employees.

단점:

I wish the interace was more uaer friendly. We ended uo switching to Asana because it was easier for our employees to navigate and use on a daily basis.

MS Teams Experience

주석: Overall, MS Teams is a very reliable application as messaging platform including file sharing, calendar, planner, etc.

It’s a one stop solution messaging platform

Perhaps when there are hundreds of participants on a conference call we have to turn our videos on to stay connected but i believe this is something to do with the connection as well.

주석: After using Skype and Zoom since lockdown, we have settled on Microsoft teams as our main software package for video calls and communication within the company. It works well and has enabled us to keep on top of our communication with each oither..

Microsoft teams, integrates well with Outlook and makes planning and organising calls and projects easy and stressfree.

단점:

Sometimes sharing video can slow down a call, the sound doesn't sync and it can make presenting very difficult or look unprofessional. This is a problem with most video call software and it may be down to broadband connections, but it is an issue that affects a lot of people.

Microsoft Teams: Empowering Collaboration Amid Growing Pains

주석: On the whole, Teams has improved our virtual communication and collaboration. We are a Microsoft org, so the integration with Word, Excel, PPT, etc, and Sharepoint makes our work far more seamless.

Teams makes it seamless for us to schedule virtual meetings, navigate communication whether through Outlook or chat.

단점:

Microsoft has made a lot of changes within Teams over the last year or two and sometimes not for the better. It sometimes feels like features weren't tested before they were released. We in particular have stability issues with it on Macs.

Teams - essential for my workday

주석: Overall, I've enjoyed using Teams! I really like the way chats are organized, with messages and files grouped together, and having the different teams groups to make messaging cleaner. Organizing calls and receiving announcements from the company through Teams is also so helpful for my work day.

The ease of communication with coworkers, sharing files, searching for messages, and using the Teams functions of make groups of coworkers under different projects, work areas, etc. Teams meetings and calling is also way more streamlined than other video calling software (WebEx and Zoom, for example) and I love the integration with Outlook.

단점:

I wish there was more advanced search functionality. Such as in Outlook - searching by date, names, exact or not exact words, etc.

Useful, Collaborative but could be tidier

주석: Overall I have a good experience with Teams, we use it with a team of over 100, and it offers us the platform we need to communicate and collaborate well.

Generally speaking, Teams is a great collaborative platform, offering all tools and features you need in order to work with fellow colleagues better and more efficiently.

단점:

Although Teams has everything needed to be a great collaborative platform, the layout compared to competitors in the same market, lacks and is confusing. This lets Teams down where it could be a really incredible product all round.

Probably the best collaboration tool

주석: In my case we migrated to M365 services some years ago. For meetings we used WebEx, and I think MS Teams is much more user-friendly, smooth, more powerful and useful than WebEx. From the IT point of view is much easier to administrate than other systems that we used in the past.

MS Teams allows you to have a smooth communication with your teammates and also with clients and providers. It allows you to easily set up meetings or quickly call to another user.

단점:

Some of the features are not well implemented I think. For example, when you go into a private chat details and "shared" tab, you can see "recent", "files" and "links", but you can't find the shared pictures easily, so if you need to find any, you only can do it by scrolling through the chat, which is annoying and slow.

Microsoft Teams for developers

장점:

Best way to have quick meetings and you can incorporate AI to get a summary of the meeting in short text.

단점:

Sometimes the blue border doesn't show up when someone is speaking and it automatically mutes you when there are more than 4 people in the meeting.

Microsoft Teams

주석: Overall, I really like Microsoft Teams based on the ability to have instant Chat conversations as well as the ability to schedule meetings without major restrictions.

I like the ability to schedule meetings and send out links either via a meeting planner or create my own email and include the link. I like that we can hold meetings without time restraints. I also like the Chat feature to stay in instant contact with others.

단점:

I do not have any Cons at the moment. Initially, I would have stated a Con as having difficulty in starting meetings because I would "lose" the link. However, after realizing that I could click on the calendar icon and join the meeting from the scheduled meeting, I was good. I guess this was more so user error than an actual issue with Teams (lol).

Team Management Easy and Smooth

주석: In the beginning I use to struggle a bit using it but as time passes by it improved a lot and became the perfect tool for team management.

The amount and diversity of functionalities resumed in only one app.

단점:

The account management used to be a problem but recently they improved it.

An Amazing Software To Allow Remote Integration Of Users

장점:

Teams allowed our users to interact in a way not possible before, which was integral at the start of the Pandemic. We went from users having little to no access to other users and the environment outside of work, to a full blown remote workplace. Without Teams, we never could have completed this as fast and seamlessly. It was an integral part of the ongoing transition, even with more people back in the office more regularly.

단점:

Issues with some of the versions caused confusion amongst users. Sometimes crashes or freezing depending on the machine.

Fuelling collaborative and productive virtual discussion, one agenda at a time

주석: Microsoft Teams has provided us with a secure way to collaborate, communicate and virtually meet with our coworkers, suppliers and even better our customers. This way is convenient, saves us time and money because we don't have to be in the office to hold our discussions or meetings. We often meet for team projects and constant updates keep us on the same page and enable us strategize and meet our goals and objectives

Microsoft Teams has been our ultimate collaboration tool in our organization. Given that most of our work is collective and usually divided as team projects, we appreciate that Microsoft Teams has become our easy to use partner in these group projects. It integrates seamlessly with Microsoft 365 apps which enable us import and export data from this apps seamlessly. Individual and group chats enable us to instantly message team members for feedback or any discussion. Additionally it enable us to send files to my coworkers. Usually when I want to focus on work item, I mute the conversations and will later get back to them. We have been able to create chat channel for different topics and this make it easy to resolve issues of separate topics. With only relevant messages on different channels it saves us time of scrolling through lots of clutter message. Microsoft Teams provide us with everything we need to collaborate live on realtime. Accessing all Microsoft apps from one point,calls and videoconferences enable us to work efficiently. Microsoft Teams mobile app is convenient and enable us to meet at our own comfort without having to be in the same location. Microsoft Teams integrates with so many other tools which smoothens file sharing and workflow optimization.

단점:

I love everything about Microsoft Teams and most especially the fact that it has everything I need in one place. Messages, meetings, notes and documents. I have realtime access to my teammates which makes collaboration quick and easy.

Teams is easy to use, but has pitfalls for new users.

주석: Instant messaging , meetings and ad hoc video calls could not be easier. However sharing documents which are hosted in sharepoint can become confusing.

Teams has easy to use collaborative tools and functions that empower you to work remotely with all the benefits of being in the office.

단점:

Teams has a dependency upon a well organised SharePoint structure, and this concept can be difficult to convey to new users.

주석: Overall, we like Microsoft Teams as we also have the ability to use 3rd party applications such as JIRA cloud, which we use for service tickets and requests.

I enjoy Microsoft Teams mostly for their well designed layout, its easy to find recent chats as well as searching key terms in the search bar to find or go to an exact message (e.g, when searching up "terms", it will look up all of the chats, messages, that have "terms"

단점:

I wish there were a way to clear the entire call log history at once. It's so frustrating to delete each call individually.

A must need for companies to Use.

주석: Overall I think this is great platform for any company to excel in with any business related information.

장점:

I like that this is an universal service with use from anyone in any field can connect and communicate efficiently. Teams holds up Information and are able to exchange it through different fields of the hospital. From nurses to doctors to hospital staff, Teams is great benefit to a company role in bettering patient care.

단점:

The design seems a bit outdated. it is simple but once a certain amount of information in stored the systems seems a bit messy even when combined with other tabs within the software.

Teams for Teams

주석: Overall the system is great, really works well for the business, keeps us in constant contact with each other when in different parts of the business. This also allows us to see who is offline and online, meaning we can contact the best person right away.

The ease of being able to contact colleagues knowing who is active.

단점:

The documents section (OneDrive) because I find this tricky to understand when accessing the documents.

Daily Teams user

주석: MS Teams is an integral part of our company's daily operations.

장점:

Our company uses MS Teams for much of our collaborative work. It syncs well with Outlook, SharePoint, and Planner allowing us schedule meetings, share work, manage projects, and store files. The screen share function is particularly usuell in combination with Planner and SharePoint.

단점:

The interface for files copy/move is cumbersome. It suggests recent of favorite locations but does not provide a means to look up a location that is not suggested. A simple file explorer like navigation would easily resolve this.

Teams is Essential for Working with a Team

주석: Overall I use this every single day to chat with coworkers about projects, attend meetings, and use group chats to store data for everyone to collaborate.

It’s so simple to connect with your colleagues and have meetings when remote work is an option.

There isn’t anything I don’t like about Teams

주석: Really enjoy this software. It's a great way for teams to stay connected, to get a hold of someone quickly or do meetings or trainings easily within the organization.

장점:

I like the user-friendliness of Teams. It's easy for anyone to use, including people who have never used software such as this before. You can create groups, share files, create polls, screen record training sessions and so much more. If you ever used MSN Messenger back in the days, this is like a ramped up version of it! Lots of businesses use Teams so it's easy to set up a meeting and add a Teams link to have your meeting through. There are also no time limits which is a great feature. I really like how you can have live reactions in the Teams meetings as well (such as clapping hands if congratulating a teammate on a job well done) etc.

단점:

One feature I dislike about Teams is that you can't add people from other networks to your Teams chats. You can connect with people through Teams meetings links outside of your organization, but you can't just start up a chat with them like you can with people inside of your organization.

Teams, come for the chats stay for the rest

주석: Our company has been using Teams since 2019 or so. We have seen significant adoption of it and our IT department uses it heavily amongst ourselves. One of the major issues with Teams is there is just too much that can be done with it. It is impossible to figure it all out.

장점:

Simple to chat, Video call, audio call. Spaces for file sharing and other things with co-workers. Seeing their Free/Busy status is nice. I also enjoy being able to attach custom names to groups which adds a bit of fun.

단점:

Teams are a bit cumbersome to use. Some change Microsoft made also made sharing files with others, for editing at least, much more difficult. Want them to get a file they can download? No problem. Need them to edit it? Painful. I am signed in on Mobile and I am never sure if my status changes to show me as unavailable.

Sturdy Voice and Video Communication Tool

장점:

It is fully integrated into M365 making productivity and collaboration seamless. Nicely integrated with Outlook, especially the calendar management. Notification tab covers a lot. 24/7 Onedrive integration along with Word, excel, power point, and OneNote. Zero issues with meetings and their creation, clear and smooth interface familiar to all who used Outlook.

단점:

A lot of features around Sharepoint feel redundant requiring too many clicks. Teams channels often lag if the directory behind is 'heavy'. Permissions can be confusing and need monitoring / admin online. The latest update that blocks access to the center of the screen, where browser tabs are at the top, while sharing is insanely bad UI/UX. This requires immediate attention but it is still not solved. Search function is similar to Outlook.

A great way for online meets and connectivity.

주석: I had a very fruitful experience using Microsoft teams :
1. Meeting with people outside/within my organisation.
2. Chats with people in same community
3. Got to meet new people via community sharing same interests.

장점:

We can set up meetings with any one anywhere. We can create communities according to our topics/groups/fields. Meeting can be organised asper calendar. Easily accessible and available. Can be downloaded in seconds.

단점:

All is fine as of now. Very easy to use.

A good application compared to others

주석: Wonderful. I have done a lot of video communication several times, and it has saved me a lot of effort by meeting through the program without the need to go to the work site.

장점:

I loved the feature of communicating with calls in complete privacy and without the phone number of anyone in the group in the application

단점:

Only sometimes it suddenly cuts out or the sound cuts out.
