First steps into new business made easier with GloFox
주석: Sales, leads, marketing, basically everything I need to operate a boutique studio. I like the waiting list feature and how easy it looks to make it both branded to my company and tailored to exactly what me and my clients need. I’m looking forward to starting the build process to see how it goes. The experience so far has been all good Fromm y perspective.

Ease of Communication, with regular follow ups from sales team. Very friendly and helpful, giving lots of experienced based tips to help me get started. Seems to be simple system to operate, which is important for me as I’m not very technical with IT. I liked that we could discuss everything about the product and there wasn’t any pressure to go with GloFox. It just simply was the best value product for what I need. The app looks great, and I think going for the Gold option from the outset was the best idea, as it means my clients can be used to using the app right from the start, rather than just using web services initially and then having to change.
단점:
Nothing really, only thing I have noted is no compatibility with Spivi - which won’t be an issue but just something I’ll need to sort separately. I can’t see too many downsides at the moment, everything so far from first contact to agreeing to partner has been flawless.

주석: The initial onboarding was a bit chaotic due to my personal reasons and the personal reasons of my assigned onboarding manager. Now that I have finally gotten a hold of Customer success managers [sensitive content hidden], I have been able to have very productive meetings and correct a lot of inefficiencies and incorrect setups that were not correct during the onboarding process.

Some of the support team. is not equipped to handle most of the features.

6 Months waiting for a fix re: scheduling issues

I started a new spa and infrared Hot Yoga business in July 2024. The sales team tells you everything you want to hear boasting support, ease and profitability. My onboarding rep was not knowledgeable and frequently responded to my questions with “I’ll find out” and then to never provide a straight answer- for this I didn’t complain just muddled through to get open in time. Then out of the blue, I was given a new rep who after I shared my concerns, apologized for the inconvenience but did no better besides offering up excuses why the answers are hard to come by. The leading answer was due to the people who build this app are located in Ireland and the time change provides difficulty for getting answers timely. That’s a Glo fox issue not the problem of the business people trusting the company we are paying to do the job. I was sold at the start about the pre-sales ability within the system. Odd that the salesmen could speak so highly about it but the on-boarders didn’t have a clue how to make that happen. I paid for several months before opening in hopes to have a solidified app to open my new business with and to conduct pre-sales to provide a huge opening month. This did not occur! I should have backed out prior to opening but I’m always leaning toward hopefulness. A few months go by clients do love the app and it does keep track of my unlimited clients packages which is very nice and yes even easy for yogis and spa clients. October arrived and I’m not sure if the app had an update or what occurred but all the sudden without any change to the schedule/availability on my end and (in fact the back end shows my correct hours), clients can all the sudden book appointments well into the night all the way to 2 am. I have had to call several clients to reschedule which doesn’t look good on a new business. I reported it right away in October. Multiple reports through multiple reps even the sales rep who sold me the package. No one has been able to fix this creating more desk work for me which is why I went with Glo fox in the first place to reduce my desk time. Finally in December I was connected with a rep I can reach out to for follow up regarding my concerns with the scheduling/availability times. Even after she heard my concerns no one has been able to fix the issue. She was able to provide me with a very tiny discount for the month of January and February. I followed up today and she does respond within the same day thankfully, but the answer is completely unacceptable. Her response:
“The fix is still in the works by our engineering team. I currently do not have an exact ETA, but it is prioritized for this quarter.“
The quarter ends in March, that is 6 months of non answers and no fixes and last week a new issue has arrived. I can no longer adjust the price at check out. I haven’t heard any response on this new thing that is happening.
I’m posting to help people make better choices- read reviews don’t make the mistake I did by attempting to stay hopeful.

The app is great for the clients and not having other business advertising to my clients on my businesses app.

Customer service is terrible. 6 months asking for assistance. Misrepresentation at sales level.
Would not recommend - poor customer support and too expensive.
주석: Customer support has been poor at best. I've been trying to cancel my subscription as a gym and studio owner, and it took a month before I received a confirmation about cancelling my membership. Despite multiple emails, calls, and submitted tickets. Since then, I've ben trying to get my data migrated to a new system and am once again begin ghosted. I do not recommend ABC Glofox.

Not much. ABC Glofox has very little I would say is a pro.

1. Reporting is not robust enough and when I've asked for my own data, I'm met with roadblocks. 2. Glofox doesn't allow for gift cards. 3. Price increases that do not correlate with improved functionality or support. 4. Bulky marketing suite. 5. Lead-Client functionality does not capture our business model well enough and I can't adjust it. 6. Cancellation process has been arduous.
Great Support - Easy Interface - Great Product!

Overall experience: I am very happy. The user interface is very easy to use, which is important when on-boarding new staff.
Account managers are keen on feedback on improvements, with Glofox constantly releasing new system/feature updates, which shows that our feedback has not gone unheard.

Had a great on-boarding experience feeling supported throughout the entire process.[sensitive content hidden], my account manager, was helpful, insightful and provided great tips on how to use the system and get the most out of it. His patience and customer service are greatly appreciated! A+++

Certain feature/system limitations that are lacking which would make life easier. Hopefully they are in the development pipeline.
Efficient booking system!
주석: theres alot of settings, functionality which is pretty awesome. And surely, it takes time aswell to set this all up. But once its set, its quite easy to handle the system.

Its a big system with alot of functionality, but the service and onboarding service was great. Louise was always reachable and helpful!

The integration of moving members from another studio to a new studio. Unfortunetaly there was alot of manual work to be done. Like setting the correct membership, dates and so on. Also when creating staff. Upon deleting them, you can't use the same emails unless you change it again, despite it being deleted. One major defect is that not all customers get emailed when pressing forgot password.
Happy with Glofox so far!

Where do I start? Everything…from the setup…to dealing with their employees and their schedules, the errors that it has regarding payments and modifying a class, the bad integration with websites, when you cancel they play like you didn’t follow their steps…seriously explore more options before you get into this mess of an app
Glofox Review
주석: Great experience with the onboarding support from Louise. So far pretty good, I am still getting the hang of using the system with customers as it does seem like you have to allow them to run into issues before everything works smoothly.

I found my onboarding coach incredibly helpful and really available to email for help and schedule meetings with. She really helped me to understand the system and be able to use it in a way that will work for my business as I was quite overwhelmed by it all and would have been lost without her help.
단점:
I feel like there are some costs and features that aren't well explained in order to possible get extra add ons purchased. Some features seem a bit overcomplicated.

SMS limit per month on the highest package. I think it can be increased or unlimited with the top tier package for customers. Apple pay would be a great benefit to the platform as well. Separate appointment emails for businesses i.e sauna appointment confirmation would be totally different than a sports massage appointment confirmation.

Horrible customer service
주석: Awful! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The people answering the phones are very nice, but they have no answers to any questions and the managers won’t call you back.

I don’t know. The customer service was so awful I never was able to experience their services.

If you are ok with waiting 48 hours to fix any issues you have with your Glofox app, then you will be fine. I sent several emails trying to get a call back to receive help with an onboarding dilemma and could not get help from Glofox. You will get someone from customer service to answer, but no one that can actually help with an issue. If you end up needing to speak to a manager, you will never get a response. Way over priced for the service you getS.

As someone who has never had any business experience before, this whole process was overwhelming however [sensitive content hidden] managed to make every situation simple, he was always there to answer any questions straight away and never left me waiting. he gave me great advice and i cant thank him enough!

Biggest mistake for my start up
주석: Biggest mistake I’ve made for my start up was getting a Glofox subscription

Nothing, it was hard to use and the company were so unhelpful once the sales person was done with me and they had me on a yearly subscription

That I spent so much money on a platform that was unnecessary for my business and the company still decided to upsell what I didn’t need. Do not sign an annual contract you will regret it. Research all your options as there are platforms for £10 a month that do the same.
